Audio Technica Expands Its Noise Cancelling Headphone Range in India With 3 New Models.

Audiologis Technica has expanded its range of QuietPoint active noise-cancelling (ANC) headphones in India with the introduction of the ATH-ANC40BT in-ear headphone and the ATH-ANC50iS and ATH-ANC70 over-ear headphones. The headphones are priced at Rs. 15,990, Rs. 7,990, and Rs. 15,990 respectively.

ATH-ANC50iS

With Audio-Technica’s coveted high-fidelity sound quality, noise reduction up to 87%, and a detachable cable with in-line mic and controls for answering calls and controlling music, the ATH-ANC50iS provides a versatile, yet very affordable, entry into the world of QuietPoint. The heavily padded earcups are designed to fit snuggly but comfortably over your ears, resulting in excellent passive noise cancellation. Flick the switch on the left earcup and the active noise-cancelling technology will kick on, effectively blocking environmental noise – use it when listening to music or to just give yourself some peace and quiet in noisy places. 

Connect the ATH-ANC50iS headphones to your favorite portable device using the 1.2 m (3.9') cable with in-line control and microphone, which lets you answer calls and handle playback (play, pause, fast-forward, reverse, next/previous track) of music and video. The high-quality, omnidirectional mic ensures clear transmission of your voice without requiring you to speak directly into the mic. The headphones also come with an airline adapter, AAA battery and a zippered protective pouch. 

ATH-ANC40BT

The ATH-ANC40BT QuietPoint wireless in-ear headphones combine Audio-Technica’s proprietary active noise-cancelling technology with Bluetooth wireless technology to give you greater freedom and listening pleasure in areas of high ambient noise. The wireless headphones reduce that distracting background noise by up to 90% while the 13.5 mm drivers deliver superior sound reproduction. The Bluetooth functionality, coupled with an in-line mic and controls, lets you operate hands-free, wirelessly answering/ending calls, controlling music playback and adjusting volume on Bluetooth enabled devices. The headphones pair with up to eight Bluetooth enabled devices, and can be connected with two of those devices simultaneously, allowing you to shift seamlessly between your phone and tablet, phone and laptop or any other pair of Bluetooth enabled devices. When used with a smartphone, you can simply press the illuminated logo-button on the earcup to take a phone call or to return to your music or silence. A high-sensitivity mic has been built into the earcup, rather than the cable, for improved speech clarity and volume. Fixed-position mic maintains consistent distance from mouth for uniform volume level and eliminates noise from cable motion or rubbing on a collar.
